About The Place
An Extraordinary Place
CROCOPARC is located within the community of Drarga, on the outskirts of Agadir, along National Highway 8 (the Marrakech-Agadir motorway) less than three hours travel from Marrakech.
Within the heart of the park lie argan trees; the tree which is emblematic of the region, the backdrop of which is completely within a natural, breathtaking landscape; opening onto the Atlas mountains in the background.
The first crocodile park in Morocco, CROCOPARC has become a tourist magnet which is a totally different experience from the usual tourist activities that are offered in the Souss Massa Draâ region; which tend to be oriented towards aquatic enjoyment.
Spending the afternoon or a full day at CROCOPARC guarantees a total change of scenery and a memorable visit for national tourists, as well as international visitors.
The park is primarily a place to discover and learn all about crocodiles; their movements, way of living and daily life. This educational component of CROCOPARC is of great interest to all visitors, especially children; and is also of interest to scientists, researchers and students, who have access to the laboratory and the crocodiles nursery.
